Château La Violette offers a delightful blend of historical charm and modern comfort, nestled in a picturesque village surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. The building, dating back to the mid-thirteenth century, boasts original stairs that tell stories of the past, whilst our room was tastefully furnished with exquisite antiques that added a layer of elegance to our stay. Our hosts radiated warmth, providing a continental breakfast that featured delicious homemade yogurt, a true treat that set a lovely tone for our mornings. After exploring the abundant hiking trails nearby, we found solace in the large panoramic garden, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the tranquil scenery. This enchanting château is a gem for those passionate about history and comfort, resonating deeply with my own appreciation for cultural depth.
